NannyTucket Fees
NannyTucket believes in quality service. We differ from other agencies in that we charge a placement fee per calendar day placement. By doing so, our sitters earn more, ensuring better candidates and better quality for your family.
During our booking process, we help families determine a fair hourly rate to pay their sitters based on job requirements. We communicate the agreed hourly rate and job requirements to the Family and Sitter via email prior to the job. It’s the Family’s obligation to honor the agreed upon rate & to pay the sitter immediatley after each job.
STANDARD FEES
Daily Requests- $35 Placement Fees are based on a per calendar day basis. An additional fee of $10 for job placements with less than 1 calendar day notice may apply. An additional fee of $10 per family may be applied for job requests involving 2 or more families.

HOLIDAY FEES
Additional $10 will be applied on the following holidays: Memorial Day Weekend, July 3rd & 4th, Boston Pops, and Labor Day Weekend due to the demand for those evenings. If you wish to book one of those dates, we HIGHLY recommend doing so far in advance.
PAYMENT
Job Requests will be confirmed via email communicating Job Details, Requirements, Sitter Hourly Rate, and the NannyTucket Fee. After a job is completed NannyTucket will send an electronic invoice to the Family (payable online) or charge the Family’s credit card for the placement fee.
Families are expected to pay sitters as they normally would (at the end of each job per calendar day or otherwise agreed upon between the family and sitter).
CANCELLATION
Cancellations on non-Holiday dates, require a four (4) calendar day cancellation. If cancelled within 4 calendar days, the NannyTucket placement fee applies. To cancel, you must contact NannyTucket via phone or email.
Cancellations of jobs on (the above) Holiday dates must be made 2 weeks in advance, otherwise placement fee will apply.
